One other thing. This cascade of incompetence isn't just Westminster froth. This week we've had lies, mayhem and chaos in relation to:

a) The security of Britain's Jewish community.
b) The worst rape scandal in British history.
c) Britain's national asylum and immigration policy.
d) Britain's China policy.
e) Britain's operational asylum, immigration and policing strategy.

We're not talking the Dangerous Dogs Bill or the Cones Hotline. And what's the Prime Minister's response? To keep squandering political capital on ID cards, when the policy hasn't got a cat in hell's chance of being implemented. I'm genuinely starting to think at this rate Starmer won't make it to next year's local elections.

I’m pro choice but I’ve always recognised it’s an imperfect choice resulting from a rights conflict. I’m uncomfortable about decriminalising abortion up to full term. It doesn’t make sense to me that we criminalise killing an infant immediately after birth but not before it.
