I cannot feel bad for Elon being betrayed by Trump simply because the president has done this to his people for years on end and that should have been a solid red flag from the start.
He used Elon's aid to become president and did it for his own pleasure, not for the people.
People are upset with government trying to ban an app, but was it wrong for the government to make laws on cigarettes and alcohol?
2 different things, maybe, but if its bad for your mental health as many scientists think does that make the scenario something to think about?
College will be expensive when i get out, but it taught me how much i didnt need in life. Obviously because I dont work as much anymore, but it really taught me how to budget my life and I have never been happier. There's a difference between being a cheapskate and being smart.
Things wont feel so bad if you only pay for one music subscription (or none at all), not having 3 different ones that all do the same thing.
And the amount of money you save doing things yourself is truly amazing. Even if its so hard to do there is a sense of accomplishment.
Not being in debt wont make you a millionaire/billionaire but itll make you a much happier person. That mortgage wont feel so relentless if you get a used car paid off. Things wont feel so relentless knowing you probably dont need a $1500 phone.
It is hard to defend people who want cheaper gas prices but drive a V8 truck engine with horrible gas mileage and pay over $60k for the vehicle. Gas prices were not your priority buying that vehicle.
If you think this president is gonna lower groceries and gas, lemme just say to some of you: capitalism always people like us to take advantage of each other. I dont look at the president to do anything about currently sales of most things.
This site wouldn't genuinely be so bad but even if you unfollow everyone you hate, they somehow make their way back on my feed. There is a dumb paywall to type more than you want to now, and you won't get any traction unless you pay the stupid platform.
The current administration running this country is reckless. I watch people bend over doggy style for this man, and he wouldn't care if anything happened to you. He looks at everyone like pawns in a chess game, and they'll sacrifice anything to protect their king.
Especially astrophotography. I analyze these photos, and I get upset when the moon is not genuine. I get upset when the star patterns don't match up with the sky currently. It is one thing to be artistic, but do not tell people it is a real image.
One thing I have learned from photography is the number of fake images that go around these sites. I would confidently say that unless you are on a dedicated page that does a specific topic of photography, about 90% of the promoted images I see are fake and doctored in some way.
The amount of misinformation that goes around these social media platforms is extremely intoxicating, and just know this platform is no better. Elon will say this is the most trusted platform, yet I go on here almost every day, and the first thing I read is blatantly false.
As I sign off of Twitter for a while, I am going to try and post my thoughts about how I feel about life, and maybe when I come back, I will see how much has changed.
None of these tweets will probably be positive, by the way.
Mark Zuckerberg says Apple haven't invented anything great in a while: "Steve Jobs invented the iPhone and now they're just sitting on it 20 years later... so how are they making more money as a company? They do it by squeezing people"
