It is true that once you purchase you can “access” the books, but the DRM means you must access them through logos. This means if you ever decide you are making the app subscription only (like it seems you are leaning), I will loose access to over 20k books. I would be ok if there was a way to export, but there isn’t.
It’s crazy how as I have been building two apps specifically for Christian Discipleship and clergy, I have been dreading talking about it on X, because it can be so toxic here. Well, V1 of my discipleship app launched today, and the Clergy app is coming.

This is a topic I find interesting because demographics and culture seem to play heavy on this more than most other factors.
