Instead of repenting and changing, they turn to revenge.

And who do they target? Those who strive to do well and offer what is best.

I can't believe how much wisdom the author of Genesis 4 compressed into that story's few sentences. You might even come to believe that God Himself had a hand in it.

Truly: it's uncanny. The first two human beings born into history are, respectively, a good, honest productive man and his brother, who allows himself to be consumed by resentment and the desire to destroy.

On the occasion of Passover, I met with rabbis from Ukrainian cities and representatives of Jewish communities.

Passover is about the triumph of freedom. This is exactly what all of Ukraine is fighting for today. I thanked the Jewish community for standing united with us in this struggle – for supporting people, helping communities, and praying for our state.

I am grateful for a special gift – the first Torah translated into Ukrainian and printed at a Kharkiv bookstore that the Russians tried to destroy.

رویدادها در خاورمیانه و منطقه خلیج فارس به سرعت در حال شکلگیری هستمد. متأسفانه، اوکراین به خوبی می‌داند که این اتفاقات در چه حالی است.

اگرچه اوکراینی‌ها هرگز ایران را تهدید نکرده‌اند، رژیم ایران تصمیم گرفته است که همدست پوتین باشد و «شاهد» را به او عرضه کند، نه فقط پهپاد، بلکه فناوری. ایران همچنین سلاح‌های دیگری را در اختیار روسیه قرار داده است.

در مجموع، در طول این جنگ تمام عیار، روس‌ها بیش از ۵۷۰۰۰ پهپاد تهاجمی از نوع «شاهد» را علیه مردم، شهرهای ما و زیرساخت‌های انرژی ما استفاده کرده‌اند. کشورهای دیگر نیز از تروریسم رنج برده‌اند.

بنابراین، منصفانه است که به مردم ایران فرصتی داده شود تا از شر رژیم تروریستی خلاص شوند و امنیت همه ملت‌هایی را که از تروریسم نشأت گرفته از ایران رنج برده‌اند، تضمین کنند.

موضع ما کاملاً مشخص است و اوکراین بارها، از جمله اخیراً، آن را اعلام کرده است. حفظ جان انسان‌ها تا حد امکان مهم است. جلوگیری از گسترش جنگ مهم است. مهم است که ایالات متحده قاطعانه عمل می کند. هر زمان که آمریکا مصمم باشد، جنایتکاران جهانی تضعیف می‌شوند. این درک باید به روس‌ها نیز برسد.

مردم نمی‌توانند روز یا ساعت را بدانند، اما هر عمل شیطانی، تروریستی و تجاوز علیه همسایگان در نهایت با پاسخی عادلانه روبرو می‌شود. ما انتظار داریم که بالاخره منطقه خاورمیانه امن‌تر و باثبات‌تر شود. در حال حاضر تغییرات زیادی در جهت آن هدف رخ داده است.

اوکراین آماده است تا به هر ملتی کمک کند تا امنیت و عدالت افزایش یابد و رژیم‌های تروریستی کاهش یابند.
