@piersmorgan At the time he delivered his eulogy the public mood was very much with him and against the firm. I’d say he’s being entirely consistent in what he says now. You might wish to airbrush over that but that doesn’t make it untrue.
@gowdavy@HolyroodDaily@StephenFlynnSNP Well it was a bit more than that and he’s failed the “what might they ask me about?” test. He then did a poor job of defending his lack of knowledge of the issue.
@Marklawrie17@HolyroodDaily@StephenFlynnSNP I’m far from a fan but I’m not sure he was doing that in work hours? Regardless, his performance was really poor and at times flippant. “I might have been sent stuff I haven’t read yet” is not a defence for a cabinet secretary.
@TonyRob70579912@SuperWicksy@RNLI Yes, the RNLI should definitely check the passports of everyone they’re called out to save and only rescue British people. They should also carry long needles to puncture dingys unless they’re proper British dingys full of proper British types.
@alexanderrX_@Adriano__27 It’s not legally binding until exchange of missives which will typically be very close to sale date. Until that point it’s perfectly legal to pull out - in fact the exchange of final missives is mutual agreement of terms.
@ollyp3@jackiebmsp@UnionistJack I think Jackie is spot on but the way to change things is for her party to get into government. That won’t happen though because Scottish Labour are unelectable. Plus ca change…
@BobKanDo@alexmassie Had a night at a posh Buenos Aires hotel (Libertador) on my way home from holiday last year. Walked straight into Milei’s victory bash. Was quite an experience. 😳
