There is a lot we don't know. we do (seemingly) know a women at home w/ her minor child found a man hiding at ~2am. That would cause a reasonable person to fear imminent deadly force.

If she reasonable believed that her or another (her daughter) faced imminent deadly force she had a right to use deadly force. That would not be murder.
