@GaryUsher_@hispibistro@Elite_Bistros Morning Gary. You’ll probably tell me that this is a daft question to ask on Mothers’ Day, but have you got room any walk-ins this morning?
Everyone at Old Bedians RUFC sends our best wishes to Gary Street during this tough time.
Gary has given up his time in the past to coach down at Bedes and as part of the rugby family we'd encourage you to donate to his family's fundraising appeal:

None of these look good, but only the Atkinson one is bad. The other 2 are against dipping players.
How are players supposed to tackle in those situations?
@HST_316 I’ve been playing senior rugby for 20 years and that is categorically untrue. The issues are so much bigger, the injury rates are higher, as are the demands on the body. And the governing bodies don’t have a clue how to deal with it.
Standards may have dropped, but don’t blame players. We work weekends, employment changes = can’t afford to get injured, training harder as 9-5 is a thing of the past. Holidays/weddings are in season as summer = too expensive. And we no longer expect wives to do all the childcare
Yesterday we said goodbye to Lloyd. As a club we are all equally devastated by his loss and miss him incredibly.
A fundraising page has been setup in memory of Lloyd raising funds for @theCALMzone, any donations big or small would be gratefully received https://t.co/JhoQAH9p50
@broughtonparkfc@OldBedians I just want to say a huge thanks to everyone at Broughton Park for your hospitality and solidarity last Saturday. It meant a lot for us to get together to be able to play that match.
If this is the beginning of a war on time-wasting then bring it on. If its a once off, out of the blue, never to be repeated decision then it's bonkers
@RobBurl When joining an organisation, whether working in the post room or even more so sitting on the board, you’re expected to have a genuine interest in their success as a going concern. I’d suggest that is the main difference between Purnell and Gibb
@eugeneh84 But let’s not forget that the RMT long ago disaffiliated from Labour so they have no right to demand solidarity. Labour is right to focus on everyone, not the unions. But the messaging has been ill thought-out
@eugeneh84 I’d agree to an extent. I think Keir should be making the case that one of the key arguments for Brexit was that it would improve workers’ pay, and the government had no grounds for saying they/we all don’t deserve real terms pay rises. This gets to the heart of Make Brexit Work
