Solar eclipse& OT History
In 763BC there was a solar eclipse in Mesopotamia.The Assyrians recorded it & dated it to their king list,allowing us to date Assyrian history &also their interaction with Biblical history. Most OT dates (at least back to Saul) are based on that eclipse.
