Sean Hammond, an American social media travel influencer just landed in Uganda today afternoon for @RwenzoriMarathn 2025

Sean has over 1m followers on instagram for example and directly influences those interested in travel in the US.

He will travel around Uganda before and after the marathon and his followers will get a chance of seeing this beautiful country called Uganda.

He just joined @RyanChenLee and Jesse who are also here for @RwenzoriMarathn and Uganda from America too.

American runners have started arriving for @RwenzoriMarathn 2025, by the some Kenyans too have arrived too.

From yesterday going forward will have massive news about both influencers and just runners.

Abel Chelangat

@RwenzoriMarathn was certified by world athletics federation April 2024 and in our first year, Abel was scouted by adidas after winning @RwenzoriMarathn 2024

@RwenzoriMarathn paid for buses to bring in runners from Sebei region and paid their accommodation in kasese.

Abel was one of them, never competed in a full marathon outside Uganda not sure even in uganda.

Adidas took him to Portugal in November 2024 and he won Portugal marathon, Feb 2025, he went to India came 6th

On 27th April 2025, he won Morocco marathon

Today I just discussed with someone here in Dubai who is bringing scouts for the 2025 @RwenzoriMarathn for a big shoe company.
