My pt today lost their wife of 60 years 3y ago. I was busy, IV’s, new admissions, call bells, referrals. He asked me if I wanted to hear the story of how they met? I could literally hear the loneliness in his voice.

I will ALWAYS have time for that story!

@leanne_ashmead @RdeDomestics @RDEMedicine Love it Leanne. The housekeepers were life savers when I was on the wards, helping to identify people when they were deteriorating often much earlier than I could. Healthcare is a team effort!!
