Superb day out with the folks in Cornwall. Lesser Yellowlegs in Truro, pair of Lesser Scaup in Helston, Pacific, Black throated and Great Northern divers in Mounts bay and Curlew Sand and Bar Tailed godwit to finish at Hayle. No sign of any rare gulls but light was poor by then!

100 up for the year today after adding a few nice species of wader at Burnham-on-Sea, with good numbers of Common species present. No Kentish though!

Brilliant day out with @FegWitch and Ann to start the year, with 80 species seen. 2 Penduline Tit, Goshawk, Tundra Bean, Pinkfoot, Whitefronts and Little Stint, Purple Sandpiper at Battery point and then BN Grebe, Scaup and Med Gull at Cheddar on the way home!

Exceptional morning in Gloucester with @13xgran with the stunning Black-winged Kite at Frampton/Slimbridge. A bird I hoped would turn up again soon after not getting chance to go for the Norfolk bird, but I didn’t expect it to be within an hour from home. Brilliant morning ✅
