@infantrydort This obviously wasn’t meant for you . - - - “We’re some civilians? Were they all enemy? I don’t know. I don’t care.” - - - Acting like this in a war of choice on the other side of the planet is not tough it’s fucking monstrous. If this is real he should be in Leavenworth.
@KarolusWangus I'm not saying they can actually hit a carrier, but I don't want us there in the first place and see no reason to find out. If we get hit we should send Centcom home, string up the warmongers for incompetence or treason, then deal with Iran. I'm worried Centcom has lost control.
@pet3rpau1@KarolusWangus 2 fold. 1) To warn the world the IRGC believes they can hit a carrier 2) To embolden the hardliners who wanted (and likely still want) a go ahead from the Supreme Leader to attack the carrier group.
@KurtSchlichter They don't have the ability to "help" us in Iran. Trump wants to build a coalition to pressure Tehran politically. South Korea sits at a silicon crossroads, and Trump using NK to pressure them is not a good look.
@CynicalPublius The American people have never supported the war. I don't support your fight, and I don't support you fighting it. I would support any troop who resigned in protest, but none of the ones fighting. I hope you put your guns down and come home.
@CynicalPublius "In a lead-up to a war, we should all express our opinions and desires loudly, vociferously and without holding back, both verbally and at the ballot box." - - - Do you think that's what happened here? At some point the soldiers themselves have to take moral responsibility.
@EWErickson Some type of global currency reset is guaranteed at this point. What’s happening now is elite narrative setting. All of the politicians are in favor of some kind of increased centralization. The only way for the republic to thrive is for States to take control of our money.
@mikepratt@MikeBales The leaks are being allowed by the Navy because the facts are bad. Re-supply has been rerouted from Asia causing shortages. Centcom has lost naval access to Bahrain and is in a very tough strategic position, which the Navy is trying to convey to the public without getting fired.
@MikeBales I think you’re underestimating the seriousness of what’s happening. 5th fleet has lost access to Bahrain and the Lincoln is now retreating under fire. Supply lines that used to go through Gulf ports have had to be re-routed. The Navy is allowing these leaks for a reason.
@cogrumpyvet 5th fleet has lost access to Bahrain. Lincoln is retreating under fire. This is unlike anything you have ever experienced, so don't compare. These leaks are being allowed by upper Navy who are seeing their fleet wrecked. This is a serious war we are not taking seriously.
@Lifeabundantly5@randysult "Take their phones away... I mean, isn't it Opsec anyway?" - - - Yes, it is. This is leaking because high level navy personnel want it to. Navy lost access to Bahrain and are effectively going to retreat under fire because of this war. They want the public to see what's happening
@infantrydort These leaks are clearly being allowed by high level Navy personnel to highlight the situation to the public, this has nothing to do with MSM or politics it's a strategic disagreement among military and political leaders (like we saw with the Iranians earlier in the war.)
@VincentParry2 You misunderstand what's happening. US Navy has lost access to Gulf resupply infrastructure. This is a legitimate logistical crisis that the Navy does not have a solution for. These leaks are from high level Navy who want the public to piece together the damage we've sustained.
@dhookstead Wrong - "Iranian Army chief Amir Hatami stated that this reward doubles to $60,000 if the action is carried out by a woman" - - - This is Iran saying that in the event of a US invasion every single Iranian we encounter has a financial incentive to kill us.
@RepDonBacon I agree it was a clusterfuck but IMO the lack of loses was because the US and Afghan Govt had already surrendered, and the remnants of the Gov't were splitting the spoils with the Taliban. We should have killed Al-Qaeda and occupied Saudi Arabia instead. https://t.co/cUzfCF8SLb
@CJGRISHAM@bostonvikinguc The Navy has lost Gulf resupply and is now running logistics from East Asia via Diego Garcia. Not normal. If sailors are out of soap, you can bet we're sustaining mechanical damage that'll hit future readiness. Add the Ford and the Navy's in rough shape.
@RyanMcbeth@AaronParnas Ryan you're missing the point. These leaks are coming from high ranking Navy personnel who are trying to highlight to the public the serious situation Centcom is in. We have lost key ports in the Gulf and have no immediate plan B for sustaining the fleet.
