@DavidZipper While riding my bike, I got hit by a car. The driver said she couldn’t see me over the hood of her large SUV. Her insurance had to pay me thousands of dollars for my bike being crushed, Dr’s appointments, missed work, etc.

If she had a sedan with a low hood she might’ve seen me.

@eean @_fruchtose It *might* make it harder to buy. In the Bay Area they’re legal in cities like Pacifica, so I imagine a lot of the illegal fireworks are bought legally and then set off in cities where it’s illegal.

But when the bus runs only every 15-30 minutes and you have to look at the schedule, I really don't want the bus leaving early.
