@TheKnownLover Ok yay 💗 I'm glad you're sampling a variety of the experiences on offer. You deserve better than 'Dying Light: The Beast' is all I'm saying
Deciding last minute to abandon my ambitions for a video essay and adapting my script into the substantially-easier 'fictional film program' assignment option. I had such grand designs, too..
@oppahawktuah Outside of the one big bad thing he does he we barely get any insight into his mindset at all. He is like devoid of all character (which could be interesting, if intentional and played with a bit, but : it doesn't seem to be, so it's not)
Enough is enough. This movie is genuinely so shit and I can't endure another tweet claiming it's the best thing to happen in 20 years or what the fuck ever. IT SUCKS! 👎
@lewiphone Maybe :( and I know people have lower expectations for horror but even under those vanishingly low expectations this is so notably terrible. What's going on
Sure it's effective at making you scared. But so is a local 'haunted house experience' and we're not talking about awarding an Oscar to unnamed vampire bride or what the hell ever. You people are under spells!!!
@Kong_The_Monke Maybe? I was glad to see them without all of their twists and turns 'spoiled', but I also think they suck or are at most very average. Obsession is really scary if you like that but I thought Backrooms was probably a bit better (even if it's for kids and has its own problems)
Did a joke one-liner review on Letterboxd and had to edit it 10 minutes later to say something of actual (if minor) substance about the film. I just can't help myself
