Today, my amendment to fund Grants for Youth Organizations passed the House. This will provide $2 million in grants for National FFA, 4-H Council, Scouting America, and Girls Scouts of the United States to expand their programs in rural areas. These organizations impact millions of children across all 50 states, expanding youth development, leadership, education, and agricultural programs for our youth in rural communities.

This Farm Bill was not written in the halls of Congress, but in the fields and rural communities across our great nation. Every provision is a direct reflection of what we learned during each of the more than 150 listening sessions the Agriculture Committee held.

The 2026 Farm Bill is a win for our farmers, ranchers, foresters, rural communities, and all Americans across our country.

The Artemis II mission launched from @NASAKennedy at 6:35pm ET (2235 UTC), propelling four astronauts on a journey around the Moon.

Artemis II will pave the way for future Moon landings, as well as the next giant leap — astronauts on Mars.
