People regularly misspell Edmund as Edmond when referring to the SS Edmund Fitzgerald. It’s an easy enough mistake to overlook, except it’s not when another ship, the Schooner E.Fitzgerald sank on the Great Lakes as well. November 14, 1883 the Edmond Fitzgerald sank on Lake Erie.
@TheBaconFather I think I might have figured it out at some point, but my mind kept reading it incorrectly. I don't usually try to put much braincells against the handle itself for many people.
