@sibylens will be where tradable markets formed around the coverage of events and emerging narratives surface first.

this study provides evidence at scale for a core thesis
@sibylens is built upon: markets are an incredibly efficient medium for information discovery.
similar to prediction markets, we want to foster bottom-up information discovery.
our approach is to directly incentivise community contribution and participation.
we further extend beyond this model by moving away from predefined binary outcomes and instead using open-ended attention markets to make information discovery around real-world events more permissionless.
We ran a study on over 2 million markets to evaluate their calibration. To our knowledge, this is the largest replicable study on this topic.
Here are the results: π§΅
somehow a Cursor extension I made and published on a whim has gotten more than 1,500 downloads in ~2 days?
might be an untapped distribution channel lol
crypto products shouldn't expect to grow beyond the cryptosphere if they only prioritise building for users in the space. mainstream adoption starts with providing value outside the core loops we are familiar with.
we don't need new launchpads with more features or an added "twist". we need to explore and experiment with fundamentally new approaches to consumer tokenisation.
@sibylens will pave the way for a new era.
On @sibylens, we have canonical markets which we use as the mechanism to tackle a few problems. One of them being the constant vamping and PvP that have been too prevalent in the trenches.
One event/narrative, one market. No fragmented liquidity and the mess it brings.
This will be the cycle where we finally see mainstream adoption as the real utility of crypto becomes obvious, with the rise of tokenised RWAs, AI agent payment rails, and applications built on top of on-chain infrastructure unlocking entirely new categories of products.
@stutireal Hey Stuti,
Just reached out via DMs! Weβre building @sibylens, a platform that creates tradable markets for real-world events. Our team has experience scaling consumer finance applications past $1B in revenue. Keen to chat if this sounds interesting!
@nemild@ycombinator Hey Nemil, we have been trying to reach out via DMs!
We are building @sibylens, tokenising real-world events into on-chain markets. Weβve applied for YC F26 and would love to connect if this is something youβre interested in.
@jessewldn Hey Jesse, we have been trying to reach out via DMs!
We are building @sibylens on-chain markets for real-world events. Let us know if there is a better place to reach out.
consumer ecosystems break down when one group of users feels they're being extracted from while everyone else captures the value.
at @sibylens we are building a protocol where everybody wins.
We moved from an age of information to an age of intelligence.
Information pipelines are now infrastructure: same leverage as oil, capital, and energy.
Building @sibylens to democratise information distribution and keep those pipelines open and permissionless.
