As our next Governor, Tom is 100% committed to fixing the broken DNR and putting hook-and-bullet sportsmen FIRST. No more excuses. No more mismanagement. Real reform that protects our traditions, our deer herds, our camps, and our sporting heritage.

Here are Tom Tiffany’s Top 10 Sporting Policy Priorities straight from the interview:

• Regulation Reform – Cut the red tape and modernize outdated rules so hunting, fishing, and trapping are simpler and more effective for real sportsmen.

• Split the DNR – Separate environmental regulations from fish, wildlife, and forestry management so “hook-and-bullet” gets its own focused agency.

• Return Accountability to the DNR – Make the agency answer to the people who actually pay the bills — Wisconsin’s hunters, anglers, and trappers.

• Customer-First Approach at the DNR – Treat sportsmen and women like valued customers, not enemies.

• More Transparency on Public Lands Sales – Full public disclosure and oversight before any acre of public land is sold off.

• No New Fees Until Accountability – Not one more dime in new license fees or taxes until the DNR proves it’s responsibly using the millions sportsmen have already paid.

• Crane Hunting Season – Establish a fair, science-based sandhill crane season to manage the population responsibly. Tom will sign it!

• Responsible Predator Management – Science-based wolf and predator control to stop the decimation of deer herds and restore balance.

• Protect Hunting Culture – Reverse the crash that’s forcing historic hunting camps to be sold and local businesses to suffer. “Hunters are the TRUE conservationists” and we must preserve our outdoor heritage as part of what makes Wisconsin great.

• Dedicated Sportsmen Dollars – Lock every hunting/fishing/trapping license dollar into habitat, access, and wildlife management — no more diversion to other agendas.

This is the pro-sportsmen agenda Wisconsin desperately needs and we have all been waiting for.
