@chrispapst I think you meant behind Hawaii. So Maryland is the second most expensive state to raise a child and the second worst state to start a business according to WalletHub. Quite a combo Maryland!
Maduro arrest swings 2028 election in favor of republicans. It’s all about oil and domestic affordability. The average American family will save $550 to $700 a year once oil is properly flowing in Venezuela. Savings come from cheaper gas, home heating & electricity and cheaper goods and groceries.
@TheRightMelissa Such BS. He basically accused Sam Altman to his face of murdering one of his employees. Had no issue being extremely poignant then, but not with Hitler admirers.
It’s not going to be a national change. Each state sets their own budgets and taxation. Point is Maryland economic failure affects every single Marylander. Did you see all the fees that are increasing? We should all agree on wanting a balanced budget and you won’t get there if you are losing our corporations and taxpayers to other states. Facts.
@BrendaMDiaz4BOE It’s a doom loop that will only get worse. More taxes equals less taxpayers which equals more taxes. We are wholly uncompetitive with Virginia and other neighbors. The only way out of this is to attract more revenue to the state and they are taking the opposite approach.
We can't provide best in class social services for our Marylanders in need if we are running deficits. In order to balance our budget we need to grow revenues by continuing to attract businesses to our state. These tax increases make us wholly uncompetitive and will only add to further deficits and reduced social services.
Same day as announcing a massive tax increase on Marylanders, the Blueprint Board announced they have secured office space for $40 per square foot. It's amazing what decisions people make when they are spending other peoples money. Could easily move into a flex space for half the cost to taxpayers. https://t.co/E9MS8eh0fE
