@RThienprayoon As a peds RN, I work daily with gun shot victims, shaken babies, children that seize multiple times an hour, palliative care, etc. I wish more people understood it’s not all rainbows and butterflies. I love my job and my babies but to say it’s always fun would be a lie.

The only reason we started bomb drills was because our high school had active bomb threats consecutively for weeks my senior year. Shooter drills? Never, don’t even think they had a plan. Rural school systems slap construction paper over the windows and call it a day. 2017 grad.
