@creamsleeve@CourtneyRCronin I don’t think much needs to be said. The motivation is obvious and can already be seen resonating through the entire organization.
over the last 4 years, apparently having very few penalties called on their opponents is standard for Chicago
Bears opponent's rank penalty yards:
2025: #1 fewest
2024: #7 fewest
2023: #1 fewest
2022: #1 fewest
@jacobinfante24@SharpFootball@WCGridiron If only the Bears tax wasn’t an annual problem
*sigh*
Average opponent penalty yards per game
BEARS
2025: 39.4 (32nd - fewest)
2024: 46.7 (26th - 7th fewest)
2023: 31.2 (32nd - fewest)
2022: 38.1 (32nd - fewest)
Your definition of “functioning passing offense” needs some work.
1) Accuracy in a vacuum without other metrics is meaningless. Production matters most 😂
Bears had a Top 10 passing & total offense. Even with his accuracy, Caleb’s Passing DVOA was 7th & EPA/DB was 9th
2) CHI cleared GB’s mid passing & offensive production in 2025.
GB finished 15th in passing yards, 11th in total yards & 14th in points per game.
3) Caleb’s 2026 accuracy in Ben’s complex offense will improve.
Just imagine what he can produce then. 2025 was the floor. 😂😂😂
@tempyatl@t_johnson_23@AtlantaFalcons@NFL Don’t worry man, no one is blaming falcons fans for the comp pick issue. Even the Falcons did their best to publicly support the Bears case but the NFL is screwed it up.Bears fans are rooting for Ian to succeed, he helped us a lot while he was here.
I am going to choose to view the Bears draft class this way
1.25: Dillon Thieneman
2.57 Logan Jones
3.69 Malik Muhammad
3.89 Keyshaun Elliott
4.124 Sam Roush
5.166 Zavion Thomas
Feels a lot better
Ryan Poles on Zavion Thomas:
"He's special ... He has that flexibility where you can put him anywhere: Backfield. Slot. Outside. And then he's a returner ... Adding that element of speed is important."
Oops, no, actually that's what he said in 2022 when he drafted Velus Jones
