There is something spiritual about living your life with no alcohol, drugs, nicotine, vaping, steroids, peptides, tattoo ink, Botox, lip injections, spray tans, antidepressants, ADHD meds, or melatonin.
Nearly impossible in modern society, but aspirationally superior lifestyle.
@PeterSchiff Peter, do you really believe the federal govt will do the right thing? Judging by your investment strategy, it appears that you don't have a ton of faith in the federal govt. Do you expect the federal govt to do the right thing here but just not in any other areas?

Your entire life will change when you start to embrace what most people avoid. Wake up early. Focus. Move your body. Eat real foods. Obsess over one thing. Read old books. Be present. Listen intently. Change your mind. Have difficult conversations. The recipe for a good life.
@1RentalataTime I like Adam Taggart and his show. I've listened to it for years, even before it was Thoughtful Money. While the clicks and views may be nice, the tabloid episodes are an embarrassment and ultimately bad for an otherwise legitimate show.
The nominal gains in stocks that amaze the talking heads on @CNBC are a monetary illusion. In terms of real money, stocks are in a historic bear market. Priced in gold, the Dow has fallen from nearly 45 ounces in 1999 to about 11 ounces today. That’s a 75% decline over 26 years!
