The reason life feels like it’s gotten twice as expensive since Covid is because the dollar has lost 50 percent of its purchasing power since 2019. That’s a huge collapse that almost no one is talking about
Spirit Airlines didn't need a "federal bailout." It needed the Biden DoJ to allow its merger with JetBlue
But the Biden DoJ, like most dopes on TV, thought: mergers mean bigger and bigger means bad
Because they know the optimal size an airline should be
Teacher: “What are the 3 branches of government?”
Student: “Central Bankers. Pedos. The Military Industrial Complex.”
Teacher: “That’s wrong.”
Student: “I know. We really should abolish the entire thing and start over.”
For most of recorded history, teenagers were expected to respect their parents and participate in adult social life. "Teen rebellion" became a cultural norm only after we isolated adolescents from adults and meaningful work for the majority of their waking hours.
If America would embrace capitalism and reject cronyism
in health care, agriculture, military contracting, insurance, media, technology, and banking,
we would experience a renaissance unprecedented in human history.
"I gotta to say to @DNIGabbard, and I hope you hear this, you really had me going there for a little bit...I kinda believed that you actually gave a shit about the people you watched having their limbs blown off."

Turns out that the guy who attacked the synagogue today reportedly lost a bunch of family in Lebanon a couple days ago. Israel killed his family members with U.S. support and he turned his wrath on Jewish people in America.
Tribal bloodsports that we should have never been a part of. Definitional blowback. Just as Ron Paul warned.
We also most likely lost another 6 troops as a plane went down and our bases are under major drone attacks so the casualties will keep climbing.
So let me put this to the pro-war pundits: was it worth it?
What have we gained?
Because I can tell you what we've lost.
It’s going unnoticed because so much other news is happening, but the war drums are beating again in D.C. The warmongers worry this is their last chance to get the white whale they’ve been chasing for thirty years, an all-out regime change war against Iran.
A new Middle East war would be a catastrophic mistake. Our military stockpiles are depleted from three years of backing Ukraine. Our effort to reshore manufacturing has only just begun and will take years to bear fruit. War would worsen our already immense deficit and national debt. Iran is larger than Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan combined. A war would not be easy and could easily become a calamity.
Thanks to President Trump’s restraint during his first term, America has a golden opportunity to pull away from Middle East quagmires for good. We shouldn’t throw that opportunity away so that sone D.C. has-beens can feel tough by sending young Americans to die yet again.
You occasionally get a moment that symbolizes everything wrong with this country. In this case it's a U.S. Marine veteran screaming out that no one wants to fight for Israel and a U.S. Senator breaking his arm. A perfect encapsulation of US foreign policy.
The administration admits 🇮🇱 dragged us into the 🇮🇷 war that’s already cost too many American lives and billions of dollars. Before it’s over, the price of gas, groceries, and virtually everything else is going to go up. The only winners in 🇺🇸 are defense company shareholders.
The taking of American hostages by Iran in 1979 was a retaliatory response to the CIA-led coup two decades prior, whereby Iran's democratically elected leader was overthrown, and the brutal (and US puppet) shah was installed instead.
Ignoring this pretext allows people like this to claim that the US has been a poor little victim of Iranian aggression for decades. But it's propaganda — intellectual slop that only serves to justify further intervention (that will bring more blowback, now or later).
By launching this illegal war of aggression against Iran, Donald Trump has betrayed the American people and his own base, none of whom wanted this.
He has sided with Lindsay Graham, Mark Levin and Benjamin Netanyahu, the most despised laughingstocks on the planet.
By announcing that this is indeed a regime change war (as anyone paying attention and being honest has known all along) he has tied his entire legacy to this action.
If he isn’t able to achieve a regime change, he will have killed a bunch of people for no reason.
If the regime does fall, we have already admitted that we have no one to install and without boots on the ground, it is difficult to install a regime even if you had someone. Trump will be responsible for what comes next- the thing war hawks never consider.
Maybe instead of turning to politics as some sort of solution, we should… hear me out here… fundamentally change how kids are educated such that information regurgitation becomes a thing of the past?
I’m guessing the President and VP are not aware of the poor leadership of the @UtahGOP And in the midst of this Repeal Prop 4 initiative -the @SLCountyGOP Chair @MikeCarey4CC is illegally removing delegates, precinct chairs, state central committee members etc… The Utah GOP is in melt down mode - that’s why this initiative will fail.
“The good news is, the system is going away.” Ron Paul looks back at 90.

After reading Matt Shumer’s “Something Big is Coming” yesterday, which has hit 55M views, I started searching high and low for any and all counter arguments.
Not because I believed he wasn’t being honest. Or revealing valid a tectonic shift coming.
But because there is always two sides (minimum) to every story. Not sometimes. All times.
Forming opinions based on one side is how you get lobotomies becoming accepted psychiatric practice for twenty years.
So, is there any other viewpoint other than the end of the world as we know it where we’re all noodling at the local lake for our dinner?
Perhaps.
And, if so, this is the best I’ve seen.
Take a deep breath. And read it. You’ll take a deep breath after reading it, too.
