@georgercheetham@BFCHarryy@Burton15Marcus@lancscricket The issue is generally players coming through and the young pros who should be progressing simply aren’t good enough or aren’t improving. The experienced pros won’t need as much coaching input and with Livi he just turned up and played. A good coach improves players.
@lancscricket It is beyond belief that we only have two senior players apparently capable of opening the batting. In the absence of one we’re totally lost.
@exiledlanc Yes, they haven’t even concentrated on one format to the detriment of other formats - both formats have been equally neglected. To be honest, the coaching staff are almost as culpable with the number of players going backwards.
@MarkKav15119614@Burton15Marcus@BFCHarryy@lancscricket We obviously can’t rely on Buttler playing, although of course I’d rather he played for us. However, the only two Englishmen who played every game are being rested - he and Archer. The majority hardly played. Unfortunately, the real issue will remain after this morning’s vote.
@BFCHarryy@Burton15Marcus@lancscricket The issue is Croft was just a lazy appointment in my view. It’s amazing how often when we need an appointment they’re already known to the hierarchy. Having said that, the biggest issue is Chilton.
@lancscricket Some of this cricket has been bordering on embarrassing. All the aspects of the game except batting, fielding, bowling, captaincy and coaching have been good to be totally fair.
@BritishGasHelp Hello. Is there a dedicated contact number for bereavement? I know there’s an online form but I really would prefer to speak to somebody?
@LancsCCMG@cooperphil156@CavanaghRoy Especially when cricketing staff appointments invariably come from within. Unless of course the club are fortunate that the right candidate from the cricketing world is already in their recent employ whenever they need somebody.
@LancsCCMG I honestly don’t understand the stick the bloke receives on here and Facebook. He clearly loves playing for us and is one of the best T20 players we’ve ever produced. Who wouldn’t turn down a million pounds to go to India?
