@simpsoka “It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government, except all the others that have been tried."
It’s all terrible. I keep thinking about information routing and a single tool that could funnel all of my communications and workspaces into one surface.
@Noahpinion Hi, Serial Groups Treasurer here (aka the 990 signer)!
…meh? It’s the addition of a couple of lines that point to other random or obscure places.
@clairevo My cycle is: see cool New Thing being built (like OpenClaw) > spend weeks trying to build my own special “Me” version > install Real Thing with a better understanding of how to use it > Claude eats Thing > see new Cool New Thing
What a time to be alive
I have no idea what most of what you said (in the long form posts) means, but I’m trying to learn!
@rankyttc pointed out that you didn’t address the point raised, which I agree with. I apologize for taking the snarkiest possible cheap shot for the lolz.
I did take some accounting classes a couple years ago when I was managing some orgs, it was really helpful!
To all 15 people who actually know me IRL, I’m sorry. This account is about to get active about a lot about stuff you probably won’t care about.
I really like airplanes.
@TheAhmadOsman Been digesting your post about stacks and saw this and now I’m ready to take the plunge. Do you have any tips for actually buying a second-hand 3090 without being ripped off?
@TheAhmadOsman I want to play around with a home lab masquerading as a data center, what do you think about ROMED8-2T, AMD EPYC 7313P, and as many 3090s as I can squeeze out of the wallet?
The divide in housing policy is between people who want housing to function like a healthy market — with low barriers to entry, real competition, and abundant options for consumers — and people who think the solution to scarcity is tighter regulation, more bottlenecks, and fewer sources of supply.
When the latter camp wins, this is what happens.
