I ran 5-year cost projection, self-hosting at @laravelphp is 3.5x cheaper than if were to use Vercel/Supabase. As much as I love using vercel/supabase for convenience but damn you really pay the price for it, which almost feels like forcing you and pressuring you to grow faster.

@benlaudesign @cursor_ai Yep you bet! Building a few products at the moment, all using cursor. The tab is great but i’m not loving the frequent changes on usage dan pricing etc.

@michael_kove Yeah, I have the same doubt about that too. I’m sorry I’m not buying all this hype. The product is really not worth that valuation. Still seems like a glorified prototyping tool tbh
