@WhitsonGordon Takes some remembering to use it, but it is seriously the gesture I use the most especially when needing to navigate sentences of text. It’s like having an instant trackpad which is genius.
3D Touch scrolling on the iOS keyboard is easily the most mind-blowing feature I can show people that they can’t believe they never used before. It makes moving the cursor and selecting text a completely different experience on iOS.
As always, I wanted news about the CPU flaw that was easy to understand but didn’t leave out all the details (largely because other sites don’t understand it themselves). https://t.co/w4LBaNXhpE came through with a very well written article: https://t.co/lHZm7yIJ7F
Since Trump took credit for no airline deaths last year, he must also take blame for the spike in coal mining deaths (where he actually rolled back safety and environmental regs). https://t.co/3Crqdrl9Ta
Was just looking at some of the last apps I had purchased on Android a few years ago prior to switching back to iOS. They were most apps to improve battery life.
Every time I see someone who just got a dog the guaranteed *first* thought in my head is “you better take care of that dog otherwise I’ll never speak to you again”. So pretty much the same thought for someone who I hear has a child.
@AndyDrum@instagram@Twitter Like anyone ever pays attention to when a post says that it has been edited. Heck, I can’t even say when the last time was that I saw an edited marker on a post, and I’m sure I’d be one more inclined to see it.
@AndyDrum@instagram@Twitter Well, you do have to think of the ramifications of Trump being able to post one thing and then edit it several hours later. Then we’d have to monitor tweet history, too.
Googling to replace a Samsung Galaxy S8 battery came up with 3rd party shops that offer it for about $129 and you’re without your phone for days. At Apple at least you’ve been able to get the battery replaced at the store for $79 (or free under the AppleCare in my case at least).
I think Apple actually handled the iPhone battery situation pretty well. Knocking $50 off iPhone battery upgrades is a decent deal for next year, though I wonder if it is good enough to keep the class action lawsuit away.
Saw this on Reddit, and I think it’s the best description of anxiety I’ve ever heard: “Anxiety is like when video game combat music is playing but you can't find any enemies.”
INDY: It's FREEZING out!!! ❄️ This is a friendly reminder to bring pets inside when it's cold. And please call 317-327-4622 if you see a pet left outside for help. It really is a matter of life or death! 🐶🐱❤️
If Apple let you see how much real users are tipping over time that can provide a great impression of how useful the app is after months/years, and whether the developer does a good job keeping up with it. Which would also correlate to larger tips.
I wish I could have Apple create a “Tip Jar” for my App Store account, and each month it adds $5 into that account. It then looks at my most used apps by usage time and splits the money (manual changes possible). It will also let users see monthly tip amounts.
