@CallMeWhatNot @FFVIIR_Hub This is just not even true. There were 9 mainline games from 1987-2000. There were 7 from 2000-2026, and that's not including sequels, expansions, and the amazing FF7 remakes. These games are far higher quality than they were back then, hence the longer dev time.

@GameStalgiaX KH1 was $49.99 MSRP back when it released, which is about $95 today. Games are more amazing than ever rn
