Photo from Nov 2020. During a visit to St Mary's Church, Sparham, Norfolk for some #RyburghRemembers #WW1 research came across the @CWGC grave of Private CE Johnson RAOC who died 1 May 1944 aged just 25. #WW2

A walk in the village just before dark a few days ago produced a surprising but fantastic sight of a pair of Common Cranes. We have had flyovers before but this was a first on the ground. They were gone the next day but what a rare treat!

Ryburgh Remembers. Can anyone confirm that the James Nobes (Born Guist Abt Apr 1888. Baptised Twyford 25/11/1888. Son of James & Emma) and listed on the #WW1 Roll of Honour is this soldier -Private 3/10409 James Nobes #Norfolk Regiment. Media Roll & Cards are inconclusive. TIA.
