Growing up girls in my age group loved the movie Girl Interrupted. I heard the phrase "life changing" at least a dozen times. When dating as a later teen and early 20's, I got stuck watching this movie 5 or 6 times. I couldn't tell you what it's about except for that it takes place in a looney bin. It was as if I was having an allergic reaction when I had to sit thru it and I'd do whatever I could to keep from intaking the movie. Whenever I was sitting thru it the girl, or girls would always have to make sure I was actually watching throughout, kinda how when women are driving they have to look at you to make sure you're listening.
I have a feeling this movie damaged a lot of Gen X and Millennial women. It was like the female version of Fight Club. Wonder if any other guys noticed this growing up?

@Tanner_Slavin I've seen both. Supergirl was far more offputting than Morbius. Both terrible but my god Supergirl was like nails on a chalkboard. I turned Supergirl off less than halfway through. I cannot remember the last movie I stopped watching because I just did not want to see it anymore?
