@the_habitant One thing I will say is that the rumor is they only did the deal because of klepov. If thats true, it would've probably needed to be a 3 team deal or smth
@the_habitant Don't overreact until later, he had a similar hot start last year. But I do like the kid a lot. Habs would have been smart to trade for him, already on a decent cost controlled deal too.
@nhl_review He also punches Colangelo in the face after the hit if you didn't notice. And greer initiated verbally first, causing both to drop the gloves simultaneously
@SuitableAlias I feel like in general, he just visually is skating slower and putting in less effort than makar, while also having poor defensive positioning fairly often. That's where the reputation comes from
@stg_resnov@SuitableAlias Those are elite numbers in todays league. If he plays at the level of an elite goalie for his full first year, he deserves the calder more than a forward playing at a decent level. Goalies rarely get to be starters in their rookie years which is why calder is so rare
@bearmandrysdale Its an odd rivalry cause there is nothing the ducks team or organization did to wrong philly. Just give the best package offer for cutter
@Raiderfrank65@KKurzNHL From the article: He added, βIt was more just that it was an offer that I couldnβt say no to β even though Iβm grateful that they thought of me as that player.β
