I have been curious about how audit tasks are performed at the big four accounting firms. Reading about the firms online didn't give me enough satisfaction. The insights from KPMG audit job simulation on the forage was valuable.

* I performed a materiality assessment on the Ashbourne accounts on Microsoft Excel and determined that an appropriate materiality threshold would be 1% of pre-tax net income.
* I identified four key internal controls after reviewing a flowchart of the business processes.
