@Dialectic_Group is open-sourcing our SpaceX valuation thesis and model.
Memo: https://t.co/JwoAfOplCE
@SpaceX is pushing humanity into a Sci-Fi, multi-planetary future. Vertically integrated with launch, global connectivity infra, orbital data centres, compute manufacturing and eventually celestial exploration - all of which is accelerated by a maximally truth-seeking AI and a mission-driven corporate culture of ‘shocking competence’. SpaceXAI presents a unique valuation challenge to model.
@Dialectic_Group presents a time-weighted probabilistic sum-of-the-parts DCF that values each of the 12 businesses across Space, Connectivity and AI + Digital. We also considered comparables and market signals. Given our compounding machine, we intend to accumulate within range and produce the best risk-controlled yields on this asset. We note the inspiring potential upside given the infinite possibilities of space. NFA

it's a combination of online + anon + limited liability that makes it easy for them to do the absolute minimum, unlike irl retail where they face people / they're basically the face of the shop/food joint..etc people don't give a shit about a random account that has an issue with their product, nothing new though, for years now it's been one of the best indicators to gauge the quality of a project I'm looking into, how you treat your users gives a surprising insight on how teams manage everything else
Vault Summit after thoughts:
- First: You know we're getting institutional when a strict dress code is enforced at the entry.
- Second: You know it's still relatively early when majority of the attendees didn't get the memo.
- Third: Kept hearing that vault infrastructure is getting commoditized, and I keep disagreeing with it. I think it's a definitions problem. People talk about "vault" but really refer to a wrapper around externally-managed assets. Wrappers are commoditized, and they were never the hard part anyway. The hard part is execution: how strategies run, how risk is managed, how capital is deployed in live markets across chains, how assets are protected during risk events. That's what we're building at Makina, a sophisticated DeFi execution engine that empowers strategy managers and protects capital depositors.
- Finally: Vaults are just a first step. Expect to hear more from Makina on this (very soon). Thank you to @morpho and @SPglobal for hosting this at the @NYSE, and to all the attendees for productive and insightful conversations!
bullish vaults
Back to back to back IRL events in NYC, capping off today with @Vault__Summit.
Vaults are a common term but the infrastructure we offer is far from common.
Makina goes beyond standard vault infra with cross-chain execution, dozens of protocol integrations, a dedicated operator CLI, and role-based governance separating Operators, Risk Managers and Security Councils.
Tooling operators actually enjoy using day-to-day.
If you're managing onchain capital, let's chat.
Makina v1.2 is now live.
The main novelty in v1.2 is the introduction of @circle's CCTP bridging. This maximizes bridging efficiency and improves capital movement across chains, a great new addition for operators.
v1.2 also includes continued protocol hardening that streamlines Makina’s permissioning architecture and improves operational safety and maintainability.
Most of the upside here is internal and provides cleaner and more efficient governance operations, reduced coordination overhead, and a stronger foundation for scaling the protocol safely.
Both depositors and operators ultimately benefit from a protocol that can evolve and operate smoothly over time.

when people say crypto is dead, they don't mean the industry
the fundamentals of this industry are looking good
what they mean is that their ability to extract money from dumb retail has vanished - and with it their passion for this space
in this new era of crypto you actually have to build things of value to make money which understandably isn't for everyone
26 days into DeFi Bench.
That's 79 rounds (8 hours per round), of live, onchain yield management, from 8 frontier models with real capital.

Season 3 is now live, and with it comes a fresh UI revamp for Makina.
The new Makina interface is a natural next step in the protocol's journey.
What was previously a separate landing page and app experience is now a single unified app, with a dedicated Kommand section on the right-hand side of the screen housing all protocol interactions in one place.
The features you're used to remain, now in a refreshed UI.

We don't have a May the 4th reference so we'll R/T the talented @ricardoalves instead.
What does this have to do with Makina?
Glad you asked: Ricardo has created some of your favourite films like Star Wars, Avatar, and of course, the Makina launch video
