This Wednesday 8/13 the Texas House committee will hear public testimony on HB5 starting at 9AM!

We strongly recommend getting to the Capitol at 8AM to give time to park and register to testify!

💰 Texas Original hired Dan Patrick's former Chief of Staff (Logan Spence) as their top lobbyist

* Texas Original has paid Logan Spence ~$417k since 2023 to convince his old boss Dan Patrick to push SB3 into law and destroy the hemp THC industry

💰 Goodblend hired Greg Abbott's former Chief of Staff (Luis Saenz) as their top lobbyist

* Goodblend has paid Luis Saenz ~$129k since 2024 to convince his old boss to push SB3 into law and destroy the hemp THC industry

Texas has created a marijuana oligopoly where only the well-connected and well-heeled pay $1.1 million in state registration fees every five years for the right to sell low-dose THC at outrageously inflated prices

Dan Patrick insists he doen't want to cut off veterans, former addicts and patients from life-saving THC and will expand the medical marijuana program.

But even if his "new expansion" plans were increased tenfold - Texas would still have the smallest, weakest, most restrictive and outrageously expensive medical cannabis program on Earth

Greg Abbott and Dan Patrick clearly do NOT care about Texas veterans, former addicts and cancer patients who testify that affordable THC products have helped them immensely with dozens of physical and mental health issues

Abbott and Patrick will end access to all affordable, tested THC products in Texas if they destroy the hemp industry

If you want to keep using THC on September 1st, your only option is to break the law:

- Street dealers (try your best to avoid that fentanyl-sprayed flower)
- Smuggling it back from Colorado or New Mexico (only a 20+ hour roundtrip drive from Austin)

OR: You can spend $10,000 a year on low-dose THC gummies from the greedy medical marijuana ogilopoly with direct connections to your Governor and Lt. Governor

The most powerful elected officials in Texas claim THC is "killing people", while their former Chiefs of Staff cash six figure checks from companies selling THC

Patrick gaslights with easily refutable lies, while Abbott turns a deaf ear to the furious uproar

As their inner circle gets paid by the two largest medical marijuana companies in Texas to protect their greedy oligopoly and rake in millions

Then write Abbott and Patrick fat campaign checks, so they keep winning elections and expanding power

As Texans sit on their hands and allow the corrupt cronyism to continue ad nauseam

Millions of Texans will suffer financially, physically and mentally unless Greg Abbott does the right thing
