@kevin_nix33 The Cup car still needs more horsepower. It’s especially evident at Richmond, so I voted “No.”
The staged cautions are another matter. The tire strategies that come about because of them. Ugh!
Richmond just felt messy. Kudos to Logano. His team handled the mess the best.
I feel sadness. It’s evil and madness that autism exists. It’s population control, and control is not at all what these autistic riddled people have in their existence.
Think about that and be grateful that you can think. Because a lot of these people can’t, they’re just trapped. Their families are too.
@DirtyMoMedia@DaleJr Amen! Hallelujah!
It was 20 years of frustration for Dale Earnhardt to win the Daytona 500. It’s been 20 going on 21 years of frustration having to watch “Playoff Racing.”
“NASCAR fans are too stupid to notice how much we use them,” a FOX news ad guy might say somewhere tropical.
Fox’s priorities:
1) Ads
2) Promoting other stuff on their networks
3) On-air personalities
4) Creepy, awkward shots of the crowd
5) In-race in-car ads
6) We finally cover the race and hype the playoffs !
I’d expect ESPN/ABC to do the same as would CBS. NBC flirts with doing that stuff. They’d cut back on number four and revert to number three.
- Reset the points for a special final 10 races? That’s stupid. Racing isn’t meant to have a playoff system. You race too much, and you lose too much. Look at people’s start to win ratio in NASCAR racing. You’ll see exactly what I mean.
- Having a high average finish throughout a full season should award you a championship. The points system should align with that.
- We would not be worried about the championship points system if the damn racing was better. The racing sucks in this “wonderful” Gen 7 car.
- The racing procedures are dumb as hell. Staged cautions, GWCs, double file restarts and whatever crap you can throw in along with it for “show business.” NASCAR has become a season long “Gong Show” with a mix of a roulette wheel.
- F**k playoffs in racing. They’re bull crap.
@briteresi Batman Returns (1995) and “It’s A Wonderful Life” (It’s old. I forget the year.)
I watch DieHard some years for Christmas, but Rocky IV is another good option.
@PrimeTimeChuck@markmartin Get Frankie to be the announcer for the Truck Series and do some late model stocks driving. Screw trying to drive the trucks and run some Busch series races.
