@EddyGraphic1@OutofGalaxyy No there’s no accessibility feature enabled. This is what it really looked like as the selection colour would be affected by what’s underneath.
@OutofGalaxyy@LuftkoppTim@Cartidise .. those blend too much with the content underneath and the thin black edges don’t really help discern the buttons from the content. All the haziness and lack of contrast has really killed the illusion for me.
@OutofGalaxyy@LuftkoppTim@Cartidise It appears og lg is thicker than the the glass in the video you shared. 27 lg isn’t as dynamic and this is what makes the edges look bad. When it comes to the actual ui controls not icons….
@Ayeris_23@DalgleishGX My content becoming washed out and blurry as it gets closer to the button and the border of the screen doesn’t separate the two layers?
Well the bar is an additional layer of glass and I don’t see the separation between glass glass and content and it looks worse than in 26 imo.
@theonecid@jvepng And the glass looks nicer in general. It looks too curved now, we have the black outlines rulling out every light wallpaper + clear set up and there’s no glistening with the gyro which makes it feel dead. If apple wants to go aqua they need to do much better than 27db1
@Ayeris_23@DalgleishGX If anything the gradual blur and shadows gave better layer structure than what we have now. Unless you want your circle buttons in a box but that ain’t no structure.
The new top bar in iOS 27 looks so outdated and ruins the vibes of Liquid Glass.
Alan Dye leaving might genuinely be one of the worst things to happen to Liquid Glass. This wouldn’t have happened if he had a say. 😭
