How to get married with minimal alimony risks?

- Do not marry your girlfriend unless she shares her salary or financial details with you. (Lack of transparency is a major red flag)
- In an arranged marriage, insist with the mediators about details of bride's employment and copy of salary slip details. Otherwise, refuse to marry her.
- Keep gold jewellery gifts to the bride at a minimum. If you love her, you can always give her more based on her performance as a good wife or daughter-in-law
- Do not marry into a family that has powerful connections in politics or Govt or "religion"
