Reports from Belfast say the homes of known non-whites were systematically visited and attacked - which suggests information was gathered in advance.

This is not just spontaneous anger.

The money will help to provide emergency accommodation, transport, and urgent essentials for those forced from their homes.

The Henry Nowak thing. If you watch the video, before Nowak complains of being unable to breathe and having been stabbed, the one police officer notes that "he has a mouthful of blood". Now when a person with a mouthful of blood starts complaining that they can't breathe and that they have been stabbed, alarm bells should be starting to go off. Then, a few moments later a policewoman requests an ambulance saying "His pupils aren't even reacting". By that point anyone with any bit of sense would surely have realised that there was a very serious problem. Now these same officers, apparently having been bereft of anything approaching basic common sense, are blaming their DEI training.

Could be wildly wrong here, but whilst this video is very slick and the candidate has a strong pitch, it's also notable that there's very little big picture/ideology to it. Not normal for Reform's approach & usually not successful in by-elections.

What Israel is doing in Lebanon is unambiguously genocidal against Shias. And it is unambiguously an attempt to reoccupy and even annex a huge part of the country. It’s infuriating that we’re pretending that there’s a ceasefire. Had not realised how bad Reform's candidate actually is. Imagine his numbers will plummet after this. Burnham hasn't had to do much in this campaign and is a poor alternative, but he's been helped massively by how disjointed Reform's campaign is.
