❌ Never wash dirty eggs. Dirty eggs may have Salmonella bacteria on their shell and washing them allows bacteria to move from the outside of the shell to inside.

In the UK the number of cases rose rapidly.
But the public – and authorities – are only learning this now because these cases were only published now as a backlog.
