YDG delegates paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency Simone Giger, Ambassador of Switzerland to Ghana, where they engaged in discussions on diplomacy and Ghana–Switzerland relations.

We are grateful to Her Excellency for graciously hosting our delegates and for sharing her knowledge and experience throughout her tenure in Ghana.

As she concludes her diplomatic mission, we wish Her Excellency success in her future endeavours and thank her for her contribution to strengthening the relationship between Ghana and Switzerland.

For force majeure to apply, a state or party must show that the event was beyond its control, could not reasonably have been foreseen or prevented, directly caused its inability to fulfil an obligation, and that it took reasonable steps to minimise its impact.

It cannot be invoked if the state caused the situation or knowingly accepted the risk beforehand.

🇬🇭🇷🇺 Courtesy Call on the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Ghana 🇷🇺🇬🇭

A delegation from the Young Diplomats of Ghana (YDG) comprised of Programmes Director, Moritz Garbrah Yankah, Business Development Manager, Ben David Twum-Ampofo, and Chief Delegates of YDG Cohort VI, Pamela Tammy Darkowaah Manu and David-Kratos Ampofo, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Andrei Ordash, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Ghana.

The meeting focused on the ties between the two countries and reflected on the experiences, as well as His Excellency's diplomatic journey so far as Russia's representative in Ghana. We also gained insights into cultural exchange initiatives, including efforts to promote the Russian language in Ghana.

We extend our appreciation to His Excellency Andrei Ordash and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ghana for hosting us, and we look forward to continued engagement and collaboration.
