I just received a positive decision for my first ever refugee claim.
I’m taking my law degree out of the frame so I can put this in there instead. This is the real goal I’ve been working towards my whole life.
As usual I’m back on my soapbox: if you hate your job, make an exit plan. It’s terrifying but it’s worth it. Life is too short to spend 8 hours a day on something that doesn’t light your soul up.

I believe there are lots of meaningful jobs out there but for me this is it. I can’t imagine spending my energy on anything else.
