@on_running@on_running Please help. I was pumped to finally receive my CMH Lily/Limelights after ordering. Sadly the right shoe was significantly longer in length (about a half size), and I had to return. Now, I cant find a size 9 men's available anywhere. My old hyper 1s and 2s are toast

@JeffRatcliffe ps I realize that DJM usually has the higher upside than swift. However sloppy weather on the road v CLE has that tempered for me today. He’ll probably score 50 of course
@JeffRatcliffe DJ obviously ranked higher. However, I’m down a ton. He has Jaylen hurts, I also have CLE defense going. DJ is safer, Game theory play is swift upside w negative correlation to hurts and hoping CLE goes off vs Fields. It’s my only chance. Moderate outcome
@JeffRatcliffe the alternative with a 12 pt projection with likely outcomes 10-14. Help me understand why you would not if down a ton. Then there is also the factor of negative correlation vs opponents player. Specific example incoming - I have flex option of DJM or Swift
@JeffRatcliffe how do you reconcile not taking a slightly to somewhat lower ranked player (based on lower average projection) with a much greater variance/standard dev.? If a guy has a 10 pt expectation based on a boom/bust range of 0-20+ , you take him over 3/
@JeffRatcliffe rankings are based on averages. However variation has to be considered when choosing l. If you need floor, or in a balanced contest I agree you go highest ranked every time. However help me understand your opinion more - if you are down a boat load of points 2/
@JeffRatcliffe hey Jeff, really enjoy your show and voice of reason. I have one perspective to share with a very concrete example. I have usually agreed with your advice and opinions on strategy. Except when it comes to “play your highest ranked” at all cost. 1/
