Not telling anybody who knows about class rock anything new here, but there really is something listening to the @bobdylan 1966 live bootlegs especially the electric part of the shows. Just a legend in his absolute prime leaning hard into the songs, totally killing it. Goosebumps
There’s a movie about me opening soon called A Complete Unknown (what a title!). Timothee Chalamet is starring in the lead role. Timmy’s a brilliant actor so I’m sure he’s going to be completely believable as me. Or a younger me. Or some other me. The film’s taken from Elijah Wald’s Dylan Goes Electric – a book that came out in 2015. It’s a fantastic retelling of events from the early ‘60s that led up to the fiasco at Newport. After you’ve seen the movie read the book.
Bob Dylan — I'll Be Your Baby Tonight. 5 versions. The last song on the album John Wesley Harding. Released December 27, 1967. I will be impressed if anyone here knows where each one of these is from...
@squawksquare squawkie - shares have doubled since April lows despite no good news and losing the EV credit. What do you mean record data man you’re smarter than this. Next will be a mega investment into xAI.
Selbstzerstörung also weiter in vollem Gange.
@BradMunchen Great chart and good point re: TSLA focused retail funds. It may only end once retail is breaking down, and that may also be correlated with Bitcoin and other speculative assets. Complicated to predict the end of retail mania but near certainty it will go under eventually.
@squawksquare@elonmusk What if he correctly assumes TSLA is dead and losing the EV credit was the final nail in the coffin? Suddenly his behavior is more rational!
@rambenzeev @BradMunchen now at what point does it finally come to an end? Is it when the markets finally decline? they can't do it forever I guess because you need inflows to sustain - like a Ponzi.
@rambenzeev @BradMunchen Totally agree. But while in 2019-2021 it has been used in a bull market to drive shares to the moon (while the business was doing ok, not great), since 2022 it has been used to pre-empt a crash (which only materialized once when Elon tested the liquidity and sold in late 22).
@Strandjunker A law was passed that removed the deportees‘ citizenship as they crossed the frontier to Poland while on their deportation train, so as to kill them shortly later not as German citizens but as stateless people.
