@teachypiano Have you thought about getting an online booking system that way the student/parent books when is available and can reschedule/cancel without hassling you.

@Leese72 @teachypiano That way he has 'done' it but then move on to the recent greade 6 with a different exam board. Or he just plays for leisure with no limits on repertoire on exam boards. He could then aim for competitions or recitals, there are other options apart from exams, they seem to forget

@Leese72 @teachypiano Ok what about getting him to play pieces which he can only use that fingering, that way when he gets to the piece he actually needs it he does it automatically.

With the grade 6 idea why not just do a little exam yourself where you make the criteria and result.

@Leese72 We supply practice journals so for the online lessons we collected them all in then once the lesson was done we took a picture of the notes made so they had what they needed for the weeks practice.

@elisabetha678 We also have had this happen, got an email in the week booking lessons again for September. So nice when that happens
