The best 🧵 I have seen on this topic!! One additional pearl- after responding with “I don’t know” always say “but I will look it up”. Then follow up the next time you see the attending with the answer. Honesty and the willingness to learn helps a ton!

While board scores, medical school performance & research are important for a successful match, superior letters of recommendation are the most important. To get the best letters one must ace the away or sub-I rotations.
