A Moment Etched in My Heart Forever🙏
Flying Hon’ble Sir Mr. @RNTata2000 Ratan Tata from NYC to Delhi changed my life. His humility, grace, and values left a profound impact on me.
I asked for a picture at the end of the flight, and as I went to get up, he stopped me and said, "Captain, this is your throne. You've earned it." He came behind me—such a humble gesture that solidified my beliefs about leadership.
This photo was meant for my personal inspiration, but today, I feel compelled to share it to dedicate my gratitude, inspiring and melancholy for a legend whose legacy will live on.
Rest in peace, Mr. Tata. Your legacy lives on, not just in my heart but in the hearts of billions you've touched worldwide. 🙏

Story that caught the eye: Rahul Dravid refuses extra bonus from BCCI, opts for the same prize money as rest of support staff. The man is a true legend: a genuine Bharat Ratna worthy inspirational figure. https://t.co/0wmDHNMGG8
His mother left him & his sister after their fathers demise to fend for themselves. At a tender age of 10, he's forced to make rolls. Still he's happy, smiling
No one can say anything to her mother though she should be held responsible
Hope his life changes after going viral

This is the cost of having to stay relevant at all times. And when attention is currency, this will only increase. This is bread and butter.

Work on yourself so you don’t get too consumed by everything going up on social media.

But Australian Arnold Dix, President of the Internation tunneling association rushed to India, worked 24/7 to spearhead the rescue operation in challenging conditions at this age.
He treated those stuck workers like they are his own sons, kept talking to them, reassuring them. Prayed with the locals for them.

Till recently, cynical people really surprised me. I used to tell myself there's so much inherent goodness in the world, things don't work out due to bad institutions and bad incentives sometimes, but inherently people are just trying to do good.
Yesterday seeing this picture by Joe and Jill Biden of their cutesy Halloween celebrations (presumably to connect with American children) while literally presiding over mass murder of children in another part of the world just broke something in me.
And I wonder if it will ever be repaired, having watched the world stream such suffering live on their phones and not being able to do anything about it. It's jarring.
“I don’t talk about climate change. Change happened a long time ago. Crisis is where we are, and crisis is what we have to fight.” – Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados, at the 20th Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture in 2022.
As we lead up to the #NMAL2023 we look back at last year's amazing lecture: https://t.co/BGArIcJHP1
