@fadednailpaint imo one can be more clever. get called out for accent? just keep it simple and say 'thank you for the note, i agree, i should keep working hard on it'. some asian cultures are trained to respond like this and i think it works well to deflect while also keeping dignity intact.

Ppl warm up faster, trust u more if u speak well. E1 can achieve it w some effort.
