Oh it's actually pretty straightforward:
AI generates the videos
Use tools like ChatGPT for scripts, AI voice generators, and video editing AI to pump out content at scale. One person can create hundreds of videos per day.
150 TikTok accounts
Each account posts regularly. That's the phone farm you see in the pic - each device runs a different account to avoid detection.
Interns handle the grunt work - They upload the AI videos, respond to comments, engage with trends. Basically just copy-paste and schedule across all accounts.
TikTok's algorithm rewards volume - Even if only 10-20% of videos go viral, across 150 accounts that's still millions of views monthly.
Monetization - TikTok Creator Fund, brand deals, affiliate links, or driving traffic to other platforms. Even at low rates, millions of views = serious money.
So basically: AI does the creation (cheap/free), interns do the distribution (cheap labor), scale does the rest. $37k/month is probably conservative if they're actually getting decent engagement across that many accounts.
The whole setup probably costs like $5k-8k/month to run (interns + tools + phones), so they're netting $30k+ profit. It's a content arbitrage play.
the growth team you need to go from $0 → $100m arr
> media buyer
> motion designer
> creative designer
> ugc farm manager
> influencer marketing manager
with this lean setup, you can:
> run ads on tiktok / meta / google with infinite creatives
> launch every week on x & linkedin
> produce content at scale (yt, tiktok, ig)
> leverage creator trust
works perfectly for consumer/prosumer companies
@cosimo_dauve Hey Cosimo, I'm a growth lead looking to join a team. What makes me great is my obsession with the 'Invisibility Problem' in growth. I like deconstruct a product’s DNA to find why it’s currently invisible and where the friction is hidden. I build distribution engines.
This AI influencer account consistently pulls millions of views. I've spotted several others doing the same, 100% AI generated content.
Now imagine one promoting a finance app. With those view numbers and conversion potential, you're looking at 6-figure MRR.
Why hasn't anyone built this yet? 🤔
@TheJobfather__ Ghosting after any round of interview is terrible especially after the interviewee spent so much time preparing. It's the most demeaning thing in the corporate world. A simple "we've decided to move on with someone else" isn't too much to ask.
