We made it out of Amarat. Hamdillah.
Khartoum is a ghost town. Not one living being. The shooting didn’t stop throughout the day. We didn’t see any but our family who picked us up said bodies were strewn on the roads. Can’t believe we’ve come to this.

We waited for a lull in clashes to make our way out of Amarat. Everything packed except the cat who kept hiding. We get outside & find the cars vandalised badly. They even stole the petrol. Then a huge blast goes off & hits the hospital next door. We rush back indoors. The end.
