WATCH: Sulaiman Namwoza, vying for the Jinja South West MP seat on the NUP ticket, has pledged to push for constitutional amendments on age and term limits to combat dictatorship. He also promises to advocate for better healthcare and service delivery. Namwoza is contesting against incumbent MP Timothy Batuwa, a former FDC member. The NUP vetting process, which began on Monday, concluded on September 21, covering aspirants from Greater Luweero and the Busoga sub-region. This comes ahead of the Electoral Commission's nomination of parliamentary candidates, scheduled for October 23–24.
